OUR IMPACTFUL REACH

Where We Work

Starting with one house in the East Midlands, we've grown to serve two vibrant UK communities. In 2007, we opened our first house in Loughborough, East Midlands. In April 2022, we expanded to Cambridge, opening our first house due to increasing demand. Today, we operate 11 houses and one flat across both regions, offering safe homes to child refugees. With over 15 years of experience, we've developed expertise in caring for child refugees, reducing the risks of trauma, depression, and shame. Where young people at Baca come from

Since opening our first house, Baca homes have welcomed child refugees and victims of human trafficking from 17 different countries. Young people at Baca have often been forced to leave behind their homes and loved ones, undertaking solitary and dangerous journeys to reach safety in the UK. Many carry the burden of not knowing if their families are still safe or if they will ever be reunited.
